Overview

The Loxahatchee River tour starts out narrow and twisty as it meanders its along its way downstream from Riverbend Park toward the Atlantic Ocean. The round-trip tour lasts approximately 2 hours from Riverbend Park down the river, depending on water and weather conditions. You’ll pass through an incredible cypress swamp, some sandy areas and thousands of species of plants and animals. The tour will often be under the shade of a beautiful canopy of cypress trees. Currents and water levels vary with the seasons. Portage may be necessary. Please review conditions and specific tour details with staff.

The tour was just amazing! Candace was a wonderful tour guide. She has just the right touch. The scenery was beautiful!! We enjoyed everything about the experience. Highly recommend doing this guided tour!!

A beautiful morning on the river, was like being in a tropical jungle. Saw mostly turtles. Jennifer was friendly and engaging. Once with guide would allow us to just rent kayaks next time.

We had a private tour with Jennifer who was absolutely awesome!! She is super knowledgeable and fun to be around! She was kind enough to take pictures of all the close encounters we got to experience (Henry the alligator was literally an arms length away!) and we didn’t have to worry about accidentally dropping our phone in the river. Such a great experience for the kids and mom n dad a like. We would absolutely go again!
