Start your wine country tour with hotel pickup from downtown Portland, and make your way by Mercedes Sprinter Van to three wineries carefully chosen by us. Portland is the perfect hub for exploring quiet backcountry roads through Oregon’s wine country, with more than half of the state’s 500 or so wineries located about 45 minutes away in the nearby Willamette Valley taking in beautiful vistas of gently rolling hills that give way to the expansive valley with views the Cascade Mountains. At each winery, taste a select group of varietals that will please even the most discerning palate, from reds like Pinot Noir Cabernet Franc to award-winning Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Rose, Riesling & more. we thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon on this tour. we learned so much about Portland from our guide and so much about the wineries from their guides. and of course enjoyed the tastings. even bought a case of wine!

This tour is a great way to spend a few hours seeing the beautiful Willamette Valley and visiting some wineries. It’s a small group of about 12 and the guide does the driving and shares anecdotal info about the area. Our guide, Phil, was awesome. His good humor created a fun atmosphere which led to the group feeling at ease with each other, so a great time was had by all. I recommend this day trip for anyone who has the time while visiting Portland.
