White Wolf Sanctuary is a 501 c 3 nonprofit organization that was was founded in 1999. Our mission is to preserve and protect wolves, promote the recovery of wolf populations where appropriate and encourage conservation through education of all wildlife and the role it plays in the natural world.

Infants are required to sit on an adult’s lap
Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
The weather does vary. We recommend dressing for cool, possibly wet weather. Please wear long pants and close-toed shoes. Our road is not suitable for low profile vehicles such as sports cars. Pets are not allowed on the sanctuary grounds.

Amazing adventure! Learned a lot about the wolf populations and history. Great interaction with the wolfs and getting to see and hear them. Definitely would go again!

My 8yo daughter is OBSESSED with wolves, and this was the highlight of our vacation from Georgia for her. All three of my kids learned a lot and loved meeting the six wolves. The only thing that could have made it better would to be able to pet the wolves. But we'll take what we can get!

Our guide, Nicola (sp?) is one of the most personable and knowledgeable educators on the importance of wolves in our ecosystem. I sometimes find my mind wandering during lectures but she kept me engaged the entire time. Afterwards, we toured the sanctuary and were able to see all 6 of the majestic wolves in their habitat. She has spent a lot of time with the wolves and was able to relate cute anecdotes on each and every one. Needless to say, I am now a supporter of wolves and will highly recommend this place to everyone I know. There isn’t much advertisement so I hope these wonderful reviews of the White Wolf Sanctuary will help raise support and love for the Wolves.
