White Wolf Sanctuary is a 501 c 3 nonprofit organization that was was founded in 1999. Our mission is to preserve and protect wolves, promote the recovery of wolf populations where appropriate and encourage conservation through education of all wildlife and the role it plays in the natural world.

Infants are required to sit on an adult’s lap
Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
The weather does vary. We recommend dressing for cool, possibly wet weather. Please wear long pants and close-toed shoes. Our road is not suitable for low profile vehicles such as sports cars. Pets are not allowed on the sanctuary grounds.

This was an absolutely enchanting and highly educational adventure that a friend booked. Every moment, from the Jurassic Park vibes of the drive in, to glimpsing the wolves from the gravel road, to learning (to my shock and pleasure) that we are approaching 200+ wild wolves in oregon and learning all about their history, seeing the size of their feet, and finally walking around to meet each wolf, learn their story, and (lucky us) hear them howl—wow. I heartily recommend booking this adventure to everyone and have been telling my friends and family who love the oregon coast that this is a must-book private tour. I wear my wolf shirt all the time now, too. Thank you so much to the wonderful volunteers and conservationists whose work and care made this experience possible.

I had a great tour! It was raining that day but the wolves still came up to the fences and visited with us. The tour guide gave an amazing educational session, that was entertaining for all ages. Highly recommend this experience

Visiting White Wolf Sanctuary was a mystery trip for my granddaughter,7, who is absolutely crazy about wolves. She is a budding wolf conservationist! The conservation education talk was my favorite while my granddaughter enjoyed guessing "which mammal made the tracks?" We were able to capture some memorable photos of her walking alongside Sucari in her enclosure. Nicola, the tour guide and longtime staff who helped raise several of the wolves residing at the sanctuary, was very informative and a great storyteller. Her wealth of information not only detailed white arctic wolves preservation and history but also of the entire wolf family. We highly recommend a visit to the sanctuary!
