Well, of course we went in November to December, so the temperatures were not ideal for an open top bus. Having said that, this was not the issue. We did the full experience but the drivers were not pleasant at all. We hoped we could stay on after one run to then get off again a couple stops after in which the driver proceeded to shout at us all and a few other customers, telling us to get of his bus. So, we did, and then had to get on the bus just behind it instead. We also rebooked another day’s worth. This day it was raining, and another staff member had to argue and shout at a driver who refused to let us on his bus despite it being pretty much empty. Otherwise we would’ve been stood in the rain. The driver never spoke to us, and gave us all dirty looks as we got on instead. Overall, a cold and disappointing experience with this service, but it did get us from A to B in NYC traffic, so for that I can’t complain.

Getting to sit on the upper deck was fun, even though the day was chilly. I don't want to say anymore but I can't submit this until I hit 73-word minimum, which is a bit of a pain.

Plenty of buses and additional buses if one was full. Didn't have to wait more than 10 minutes. Don't like the audio. Lacking in so many ways. Childish! Bring back the human being with the sense of humour and knowlodge of the city that they live in. So many missed opportunities to actually point out more places of interest. Go listen to the guy on the Circle Line cruise. That guy knows his history of the city. Over 30 years he's been doing the cruise and could certainly show you guys how to tell the history of the city. The west side of the downtown route is just boring and frankly used as a way to get the bus back to the start. How about all the history of the river and sites on the opposite shore? Having said the above we did use the bus as a good afternoon out and visited 9/11 as well as the Ghostbusters Fire Hall. We did the uptown as well but you do seem to sit in traffic more on this route. Don't know the driver name but he raced up the stairs at traffic lights to point out some sites. Lights went to green but he held up the traffic until he was done. Legend!
