Amelia Island

The eight flags tour takes you on a historical journey through all of the locations that those flags have flown over the islands incredible history. The only location in America to have had this number of independent flags. You will travel through the historic downtown district and out to the original Fernandina. On our journey we will cover each of the flags, the period from which they flew and the historical significance behind all of those dates from a historical perspective.

Daniel did a good job of teaching and entertaining us during our tour. It did not come across as a memorized script, but rather a sharing of facts and info from his research and learning about a place he is glad to now call his home. The van was very clean and comfortable. Complimentary water and an appreciated help with a step up added into this 5 star review. Thank you for time well spent learning about Amelia Island!

Daniel was an excellent tour guide who was very knowledgeable with the Island's history. He was able to tailor the tour to things that were of interest to us. The architecture of the historic homes was a must see along with Daniel"s ability to provide historical information on the homes past Island inhabitants. Daniel has a great passion for the Island's history and skillfully articulated his knowledge throughtout the tour.
