The Statue of Liberty & Ellis Island Ferry operates from 9:00am to 3:00pm with regular departures from Battery Park. You will need to redeem your ticket voucher with a Big Bus Tours staff member before heading to the ferry terminal
This ticket includes a ferry journey to both Liberty Island and Ellis Island, but not interior monument or museum access.
Empire State Building visits must pre-book a time and date through the Big Bus Booking Management link (provided on your voucher), or with our staff at Stop #1

We picked this bus tour over others as we felt it was more popular and might have more buses! I don't think this was the case. They all seem similar so I would go for the best value. The bus tour was good and we enjoyed it. The bus tour has an app. This was good for routes etc but we found it difficult to locate the stops for the hop on hop off. They are not obvious and some are only hop off. We figured it out eventually. The only other issue we had was when you book online you go to madame tussauds to collect your tickets. They give you a print out for the bus and the attractions. They do warn you that if you lose the ticket they wont replace them. I felt this was not good since we paid nearly €700 for the passes.

Purchased three day pass. It was a waste of money let alone your time. No air conditioning on first floor for those who don’t want to sit in hot and humid weather in open part. Thought it would let you off closer to major attractions than it did. Spent an hour trying to get back around to where we wanted to get off at but still had to walk to attraction. Should be like Boston and their Trollies where you could get off where you wanted since traffic is about the same. One guide was very helpful, but others had a major lack of interest in their jobs. So disgusted that we chose to pay for cabs rather than waste time and that’s saying a lot right there if you choose to ride in a cab in New York City and for go what you had already paid for. Would not recommend this way of getting around city to anyone. Would have rated a zero if could have.

We have our mechanics hard at work making sure all of our buses are cool and comfortable for our guests. Our tours are designed with designated stops in areas of great interest to our guests. The majority of our stops are either at an attraction or in very close walking distance to an one. We are happy to hear that one of the guides you had was helpful, but disappointed that you felt the others were not up to par. We went on this tour over 2 days. We found that the couriers on the bus made all the difference to our enjoyment. The first one was called John Hawkins and he was absolutely great, full of information, funny, knowledgeable about everything. The others not bad, but he really shone! This is a fantastic way to get about New York and see all the main attractions, would recommend this tour to everybody.
