Ok, I only give this 3 stars because of the lazy*#%^* employee who refused to even acknowledge me when I had a question. Other than that, the tour and guides were funny, informative, and very engaging. On to my experience...my wife and I purchased the 1 day hop on hop off tour along with the architectural boat tour (highly recommend) When we came back the next day (Friday 8/10/18) We went to stop #1 and asked an employee who was sitting on the ground glued to his phone, where we catch the boat for the tour. This lazy *&*# didn't even look up at me, I asked several times, "excuse me sir" where do we catch the boat for the tour? No response, it was as if he was brain dead!! I even got down on one knee and got about 12 inches from his face and asked again, this time saying "excuse me sir, we are paying customers and need to know where to catch the boat. Again, nothing!! He never moved and kept looking at his phone...WTF!! This guy should be fired!!! This is for management of Big Bus Tours: This lazy *%#% was at stop#1 on Friday August 10th.

pacificcoastins - - This review seems very harsh and unnecessary. - - At Stop 1, we have an employee with a Cognitive Disability that's also a bit shy at times. He's a bus cleaner and focuses on that job, as it's very important to present a clean bus. He doesn't necessarily know too much about locations, pricing, and pick-ups but has shown an interest in learning more and helping out, but again, that's not his job. Our team has actively been trying to bring him out of his shell by including him in conversations, customer interactions, and creating a positive work environment with him. Our Stop 1 is a busy stop that has multiple people stationed there: Ticket Agents, Tour Guides, and Drivers. Plenty of people could have answered your question. We at Big Bus Tours Chicago, pride ourselves in our inclusiveness and diversity among our team. We appreciate the fact that individuals with Cognitive Disabilities choose to be a part of our team. I would HIGHLY recommend this tour bus! My out-of-town guests and I had a great experience and the tour was both informative and entertaining. I like the ability to hop-off and on the bus. I just wish it would run later than 5pm - not sure if that is their regular quitting time or if the Beyonce concert has something to do with it. But, if you and/or your guests get an early start, you can't go wrong with the tour bus.

The entire last schedule is posted in the brochure so you can easily design where you want to end your day of exploration and discovery! Beyoncé only rerouted us just a bit out of the Museum Campus. Took bigbus first time in DC and then it (or similar bus company) become my first stop of each city. I personally always take it for a round (not on and off on and off), and that gives me a good idea of what that city has and then after that or day 2, I will go specifically to the spots that I am interested in.
