Touristy spot with overpriced hamburgers and mediocre service. I made a reservation ahead of time, and we arrived 15 mins early. There was a line to check in and get seated, so I waited, only to be told to get back in line at the exact time of the reservation. Once that was done and we were walking to the table, there was a photo opportunity with availability to purchase at the table. They print the photo and bring it to show you. If you choose to buy, the amount is added to the bill. Our souvenir from travel is always photos so we did purchase. The server started out nicely, but once he took our order, he never came back. Someone else brought our food and then we saw our sever several times but he was too far away to get his attention. The food is OK but it's not any better than another chain. Way overpriced and not many choices. This is a touristy spot due to the environment and memorabilia. It was definitely a one and done experience.

Terrible. Service was poor at arrival. Waiter was non-existent, as had a large table to cater for. Our table was on its own, in the middle of a corridor, just horrible. I made a request that it was my wife’s birthday, which was acknowledged on the check in ticket - nothing. I’ve been to a few of these now and we like the whole experience, but this was terrible. Real shame. Felt not valued, food was slop and very overpriced. Couldn’t eat and get out of there quick enough! Do not visit!!!!!

First and only Visit to this venue. Hard Rock Cafe was on my must do list on my visit to NY. On entry ,on a relatively quiet day, things got bad ..and then to worse. Rude reception staff shouted at us directions down stairs…where a lovely young girl called Emily was directed to take us to a table.We arrived at the table, dirty,ketchup everywhere, still untidy and which I refused to sit at with my group of friends…the young girl ,Emily,asked us to wait while she sought help from her supervisor called Bianca. At this point I sat at an adjacent, clean,empty table with my friends. I was immediately chastised by Bianca who shouted that the empty tables were not to be used ,whilst two young members of staff were instructed to clean our original table, The atmosphere was very hostile and unwelcoming.Emily, who appeared to have had very little training was hung out on a limb and appeared to be sympathetic to our situation but was in a very awkward position…I was not prepared to stay within this hostile environment,a feeling which was echoed by my friends..and we left.Emily was smart in how she handled the situation.Bianca, whatever her position , needs further training,,,Planet Rock franchise , times square , need to get a grip!!!
