Helikopter Combo Tour w Ketchikan

Przegląd

This 45-minute tour is a combination of two of our best, Mahoney Falls and Top of the World. You will fly out to a 1500 foot waterfall, with the possibility of seeing mountain goats. Then fly along the George Inlet and up to our exclusive helipad on an 2000 foot mountain with views of the Canadian Rockies and Prince of Wales Island. You will stay on the helipad for 10 - 20 minutes to take pictures and enjoy your surroundings. The remainder of the 30-minute flight flies over the Tongass Narrows, Ketchikan, and the cruise ships.

*Please note, despite misconception, Ketchikan does not have glaciers*

My mom and I went with my cousin and saw the most incredible views ever. I have done hiking and driving around to get pictures but there is nothing like flying and seeing these mountain goats just hanging on to these rock faces. Then flying to the waterfalls and the helipad on top of that really tall mountain you can see from where you originally take off from.

Owner Pilot Larry and Pilot Bryan of Helicopter Air Alaska gave us the best helicopter ride we have ever had. They flew us over the beautiful mountains, lakes, waterfalls and seas of Ketchikan, Alaska. Larry and Bryan made us feel so safe and comfortable and were so much fun that we felt that we were flying with old friends. Helicopter Air Alaska gave us the experience we were hoping for on our trip to Alaska.

As a local to Ketchikan this is the best tour I’ve ever taken here, hands down! The views and wildlife viewing were breathtaking, it was like seeing it for the first time! Chaz was our pilot, he’s a master of his craft and knowledgeable of the areas we flew over. I would highly recommend this as a way to soak up and take in as much of Ketchikan as you can in such a short visit. Besides the mountain goats and black bears the best was landing on top of the world! 360 views that no one else but Alaska Air Helicopter can land on making that worth the trip and photo opportunity in its self. Definitely one of my most memorable days of summer.
