Helikopter Combo Tour w Ketchikan

Przegląd

This 45-minute tour is a combination of two of our best, Mahoney Falls and Top of the World. You will fly out to a 1500 foot waterfall, with the possibility of seeing mountain goats. Then fly along the George Inlet and up to our exclusive helipad on an 2000 foot mountain with views of the Canadian Rockies and Prince of Wales Island. You will stay on the helipad for 10 - 20 minutes to take pictures and enjoy your surroundings. The remainder of the 30-minute flight flies over the Tongass Narrows, Ketchikan, and the cruise ships.

*Please note, despite misconception, Ketchikan does not have glaciers*

This was the highlight of our trip to Alaska! We did the amazing combo tour. This tour company was outstanding from the second I booked with them! Carrie promptly responded to my email and called me to book right away. She was kind, friendly and informative. When we got to Ketchikan, Carrie promptly picked us up. Our pilot took us on the most amazing tour of the forest, falls and the amazing top of the world! It was SO much fun! We saw a bear and goats on our trip. When it was time to head to the city, they drove us to where we wanted to go and gave us recommendations. An absolute must do!!

This was the highlight of the week by far — never been in a helicopter and now I think I’m hooked — Chaz and Carrie are so great and get excited about what they do — it translates so well in the experience — Landing on the mountaintop was ... breathtaking and then soaring over the cliffs and seeing mountain goats?!? What is my life lol ? I’ve done sea planes which are cool too but with the helicopter you barely feel movement and the panoramic windows for views and photos put sea planes to shame ... what a great icing on the cake of an Alaska adventure ... fireworks for sure and I’m sending all my friends to these guys when they visit Alaska — great experience and still have plenty of time to do eating shopping exploring and see the lumberjack show — Magical day !

My wife and I are just back from an Alaska cruise and had the opportunity to take the Combo Tour with Helicopter Air Alaska. It was a spectacular experience for us starting with a perfectly prompt Carrie escorting us to their heli-base which was a short drive from the cruise dock. Although she is one of their pilots, for our flight we had Chaz who showed a deft hand at the controls and gave us a smooth ride and landings. Mahoney Falls and the surrounding terrain was breathtaking and we circled around several time giving all the angles we needed for taking pictures. On our way there we saw several mountain goats including a mom standing over her sleeping baby on a seemingly sheer rock face. Later, their exclusive landing pad on top of a nearby peak gave us more fantastic views and photo opportunities. I would not hesitate to recommend these guys for a safe and memorable Alaskan flight experience.
