When picking up passengers at airport there was NO name on passenger window to locate correct vehicle that I booked and paid for. Therefore we missed 2 different cars and stood at the waiting area almost 2 hours until we got our ride to hotel. On way back to airport confussion as to having to pay extra to go thru toll road. This should be included in price. Won't book thru Carmel again !!!
Given it a 1 because the driver asked on 7 yes seven separate occasions for a big tip.
I am happy to give a tip if I feel the service is good, and to be fair he was on time picking us up in what was very heavy traffic, but to be constantly pestered for money was not what I expected or wanted
Be careful about what you pay vs what you get. As per the inbound transfer, the outbound was the same. We had paid 60 up front as we had wanted to pre-pay as much as we could before so as not to have any unexpected costs! Pfff not to be with Carmel. The driver first of all could not speak English which is really difficult, then we were presented with a written scribble on the back of a card saying 8.50 for the toll and 10 tip!! An extra 18.50 that we had not budgeted for. The same happened to us on the way in and it is shocking to treat overseas people like this. I work in PR in the travel industry and I will NEVER recommend Carmel. They are not offering an honest service and how on earth are you supposed to communicate with drivers who do not speak English. Poor!
