Running through Manhattan with heavy luggage in the pouring rain, trying to find a yellow cab at 15.40 on a super busy Friday afternoon because our Carmel sedan reserved at 15.00u didn’t show up. I called the serviceline of Carmel several times and everytime it was ‘a couple minutes delay’. Meanwhile someone at Carmel left a message in my voicemail, stating that there was a 20-30 minute delay. I called the service line to cancel but it wasn’t possible because I booked through Viator. At 15.32 I was called again by Carmel that there weren’t any cars available anymore in the city and that we had to find our own transportation! I’m expecting to get a refund as I paid upfront.
