I wanted to review the trip my husband, Joe and I, took with your company as I believe there is some room for improvement.
First, we started with a drive around Sonoma for about 25-30 min. We thought this was fine until we arrived at the Ravenswood tasting/tour and didn’t get a chance to even complete our tour let alone enjoy the tasting room and buy wine before we were told we had to leave. I think everyone on the bus was there for wine tasting and the opportunity to purchase wine, I’m not sure why we spent all the time touring an area (that we then drove right past AGAIN on our way to Imagery) to be rushed out of the Ravenswood tour. The Ravenswood tour guide even mentioned we were late. Lastly, the tasting fee was $20, which although it did include a really nice tour, should be stated differently on your website.
Buena Vista was nice, however, again a $20 tasting fee. Lunch was very nice and well planned, but instead of going into the tasting room following it, our driver Joe decided to do a dinner theatre. I did not have a problem with this, it was a little odd, but maybe some enjoyed it. However, I think the winery was a bit annoyed as it kept guests again from going into the tasting room and buying wine which I’m sure they would like your patrons to do. My group got up and left, and managed to buy some wine, but I’m sure this is not helping your cause to have lower tasting fees.
So then as stated above, we drove back down the exact same “tour route” as before, so our tour guide could have given us the exact same historical information and left us plenty of time at Ravenswood without being rushed. The rest of the tour was very nice and all the wineries were great selections. Joe was bit over the top for me, too much talking during the tour that were more attempts at jokes then useful information about the tour. Also, as stated above, the $20 tasting fees were very misleading compared to what’s listed on your website. I really enjoyed the tours, it should just be more up front on your website that that is the case.
I also emailed this review directly to Sonoma valley wine trolley prior to posting this and received no response.

With humility, any company should believe that there is alwasy room for improvement, and with your feedback we will most certainly take all you have said into consideration to make sure our communication is better. There are some things on our end that we have changed and corrected simply from this review. I am very sorry to hear that your email to us directly fell through the cracks. We are very sorry to hear that you didn't fully enjoy your tour. The main point of the tour is for you to enjoy each others company, enjoy your experience aboard the trolley and to enjoy the wineries and purchase wine at your liesure. Thank you for expressing some of the concerns you had with what you felt was lacking or keeping you from enjoying the wineries more. We will also make sure to express better the tasting fees to be expected at each location, as it is mentioned on our site but is also something our agents are expected to reiterate.
