Robert Malissa is an award-winning, incredibly funny, laugh provoking, out-of-this -world, comedy magician with low self-esteem (who writes his own bios). He has a very warm style with the goal of sharing the joy inherent in a moment of magic.

Rob encourages participation and ensures that his volunteers and the rest of the audience have a great time.

He is the winner of the Philadelphia Houdini Award and a recipient of both stage and close-up magic awards from the Society of American Magicians.

The entire tour is between 1 to 1.5 hours. The walking time is approx. 1/2 hour. The rest of the time is standing, except for a few locations with some spots to sit.
In the summer, a water bottle is recommended.

We did this tour during the Philadelphia Fringe Festival. It was a fun walking tour around the Old City section of Philadelphia that weaved a little history of the area with magic and comedy. It was a pretty unique way to tour the city. Good for some laughs and amazing magic tricks, and even learned some about the city.

This was a beautiful and fun walk with famous Philly Magician Robert Malissa. We had seen him in a theater before the pandemic and laughed non-stop, he's quite funny and original. This new show is a wonderful invention of getting to know historic Philadelphia, through an easy but lovely walk that I'd never known though I live in Philly. Add to this, Malissa's surprising magic tricks at every scenic stop! I probably wouldn't have gotten my kids to walk around Philly, but having a walking magic show, it was exciting for the whole family (our kids were 11 though this was rated for 13 and up, they had fun) and it was fun our adult friends, too. A chance to be together outdoors and enjoy the art of magic with a bit of humor on top! Highly recommended.
