Earn your wings on this fresh Buffalo food tour with samples of Buffalo's tastiest chicken wings. We’ll dive deep into the history of Buffalo’s most famous and misunderstood dish and attempt to answer the question, “Who was the true inventor of the first Buffalo Wing?”.

The tour begins with a visit with Lina Brown Young, daughter Buffalo’s original King Of Wings, who shares personal photos, stories, and her dad’s long-lost mumbo wing recipe, which had been unavailable for 23 years.

We’ll continue with a stop at the Anchor Bar, where we’ll learn the wild story of how their wings were born by accident and sample their classic Buffalo Wing. The tour concludes with a visit to Tiny Thai, where we’ll sample a legendary recipe that connects the past, present, and future of chicken wings.

the knowledge and history of the area was great. I have lived here for 61 years and went though areas of the city I had never seen before.

The whole ride was a lot of fun. Mark had a great path around Buffalo, including the MLK park, which I had never seen. Mark has put great effort into learning the history of not only chicken wings but the city of Buffalo. The chicken wing samples were a big treat too!

The tour guide really knew her stuff and made this a safe, informative, fun tour with a little bit of whimsy and a lot of good wings. My husband got a flat just prior to the first stop and the guide had the tools and knowledge needed to fix it, if only we had brought a spare inner tube. I have 2 suggestions: maybe provide tour participants with a bib or vest of some kind, identifying them as part of a tour, so that vehicular traffic might get the hint to let us stay together at corners; and have participants take down the guide's phone number at the beginning of the tour just in case someone gets left behind. (This happened on our tour; one rider needed a different bike because the original threw a chain. He was almost left behind.)

Thanks for joining us, Tamara! We cannot do maintenance on bikes people bring on the rides, only on our own fleet. But I'm very glad Chris could help you out. I appreciate you sharing your thoughts about safety vests and phone numbers...we'll consider it, along with other strategies. Glad you had a great time and hope to see you again :)
