For a fun kayaking Kauai activity, paddle tandem kayaks along the Hule'ia River and travel deep into the heart of the Kauai island jungle. Kauai hiking, a 3/4-mile (1.2km) trek up the valley to an enchanting area of waterfalls and swimming holes. On the way back, be picked up in a twin-hulled powered Hawaiian canoe for a pleasant, easy return trip!

Suitable for all physical fitness levels
Minimum of 4 passengers required for tour departure.
Approximately one guide for every 8 - 12 passengers
Items to bring: Swimwear, footwear with an aggressive tread pattern and that can get wet (i.e. Teva-type sandals or aqua socks), towel, sunscreen, insect repellant, waterproof camera
Minors must be accompanied on tour by a parent or guardian.

Fantastic adventure. Our guide Elijah was awesome. Falls were a tad underwhelming, but all the rest was so great it made up for it. Beautiful trip.

Aloha mystrk, Hidden Falls is small but beautiful. If you want the Big waterfall, you should try our Wailua River Paddle to Uluwehi Falls. It's spectacular but a lot more work paddling both directions on the river. There's no boat ride home. :) See you next time.

This was a good adventure, we were on the cruise to Hawaii and booked via Norwegian....it was located right beside of the port, so that made it easy. Tim was our guide, he was low key and easy going. The other guide along too was really nice (can't remember his name) Kayak paddle was nice, lots of beautiful things to see. Tim told a few stories/history. The hike seems a little longer then just 1/2 mile but we didn't mind. It was SUPER MUDDY so be prepared. The waterfalls are nice, the rain forest jungle is beautiful, and the rope swing is pretty fun. There was another group there at the same time, so it was crowded, wish that part had been timed better so my boys could have done the rope swing more than just 2x. The boat ride back was fun on the bigger boat pulling the kayaks. It was a nice way to see parts of Kauai and not have to spend all day.

Aloha Becca, The Hidden Valley Falls Kayak adventure is a great half day with a lot of fun and incredible scenery. Sorry we fell short on the timing with the two groups at the rope swing at the same time. We try very hard to make sure that doesn't happen. The muddy trails can change up the hike time on occasion. It's great to hear you had a great time anyway. Your photos say it best!!! Mahalo for the excellent review and the very kind words on Tim. He is definitely low key, easy going and 5 Star all the way. While you can do this adventure alone, it was great to be a part of a group. Our guide was helpful and encouraging along the way. We enjoyed the waterfall while eating a sack lunch. It was a wonderful way to experience Kauai.
