Our guide Kim was very capable and friendly from start to finish on this long day. Being a former Park Ranger, she had a lot of really great information once we got to the Grand Canyon. It would have been great to hear more during the drive, but there seemed to be a problem with her microphone/headset, and that may have interfered.
I liked that we were able to get out at several different points along the Grand Canyon. On one of the trails, we even got a very close view of elk; one was only about 8 feet away!
I do think more time in Sedona would be great, even if it meant skipping Williams. I also would have been willing to give up the shopping time in Sedona in order to see a few more rock formations there.
Having a small group was amazing. The van seats were pretty comfortable, though my seat had a large gap for the wheel well and no arm rest on that side, so once in a while I felt like I was sliding off my seat. Just keep your seatbelt right.
Finally, a great thank you to the staff; I accidentally left my sandals on the van when I went home, but the next day I was able to pick them up at the Tempe office, and the staff were very kind and helpful about getting them back.

Thank you for taking a tour with us to the Grand Canyon, and for sharing your experience. We're glad that you enjoyed your trip and that Kim could make it extra special by sharing her knowledge from when she was a Park Ranger. Regarding your feedback about the van's microphone and the length of time spent in Sedona, we'll be sure to share that with our mgmt. team, so they may ensure those are corrected. We hope to see you again on another one of our tours departing from Phoenix or Las Vegas.
