This is the only place in Alaska where you can mush your own team of dogs in the summer!

This is not a just a tour kennel; it is the training grounds and homestead of 4-time Iditarod champion, Dallas Seavey. All the dogs are either retired racing dogs (many have won the Iditarod), are currently on the race team, or are the next generation in training to become the next great champions! Our dogs are active and training year-round. As a guest musher here, you become part of Dallas Seavey Racing's year-round training program.

The group size for this experience is usually 6 or less people, with a guide assigned to each group, creating a very personal experience.

All of our dogs are extremely friendly, and love attention. Cuddle puppies, romp with young dogs, or walk with champions.

We had a great time on the summer mushing trip! The dogs were sweet and the staff (Amelia, Sam, Winter), were very friendly and helpful! The next time we, Texans, are in town we would do it again!! Lori Y.

Alaska is beautiful and we enjoyed everything. Dallas Seavey’s AK Sled Dog Tour was the highlight for my son. We all loved it, but this will be a core memory for our son. The staff was very informative and cheerful. The close relationships they have with the dogs is evident. We enjoyed everything about it. The dogs are happy and you can see it. 100 out of 10 experience.
