This is the only place in Alaska where you can mush your own team of dogs in the summer!

This is not a just a tour kennel; it is the training grounds and homestead of 4-time Iditarod champion, Dallas Seavey. All the dogs are either retired racing dogs (many have won the Iditarod), are currently on the race team, or are the next generation in training to become the next great champions! Our dogs are active and training year-round. As a guest musher here, you become part of Dallas Seavey Racing's year-round training program.

The group size for this experience is usually 6 or less people, with a guide assigned to each group, creating a very personal experience.

All of our dogs are extremely friendly, and love attention. Cuddle puppies, romp with young dogs, or walk with champions.

The experience exceeded our expectations! The Alaskan Huskies were super friendly and well taken care of! They love to be people, I love that the staff love of what they do, caring and training these dogs.

Had a fantastic time today joining the sled tour. It really is something else to be pulled by a pack of dogs! And seeing the kennels, puppies, and learning about how dogs are trained for the Iditarod was such an interesting experience. Really thankful I had the opportunity to do this!

What a fun dog sledding experience! So happy we took a chance on summertime dryland mushing. We learned so much about dog sledding and the Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race from Dallas Seavy’s team. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. It’s obvious how much they love what they do and want to share the experience. I’ve been winter dog sledding in Colorado, but this experience was far more immersive and inspiring. Thanks for the memories!
