The Mardi Gras School of Cooking does small, intimate hands-on classes in the French Quarter. Classes are more like a dinner party with friends. Feel welcomed into our kitchens by the Chefs themselves. From the moment you arrive until you roll out the door our Chefs are friendly, personable and entertaining. Not to mention their culinary skills are impeccable.

Our minimum class size is 2 people. A solo traveler may join an already scheduled class. Call us to hear about the available classes.

For parties of 8 or more, you will have to contact us directly to book. We have questions.

The experience was so much fun. We did our class with Preston and he taught us so much about the city and its rich history behind the dishes and why we use those particular ingredients. We were tipsy, eating, laughing and having a blast.

We learned so much history about the food while having fun with the group. Chef Preston was wonderful. He was funny, engaging, and considerate, checking in often that everyone was comfortable and enjoying themselves.

We loved this class! Chef Marc did an outstanding job helping us create 3 delicious dishes. The Gumbo was amazing. We also got a tasty assortment of NOLA craft beers while doing our cooking. Definitely recommend this place for an authentic cajun cooking class.
