Our first (and definitely not our last) cooking class at the Mardi Gras School of Cooking was one of the highlights of our trip to NOLA last week! We chose the Roux class for our first experience.
We were privileged to have Chef Chris as our instructor and he is WONDERFUL. He shared some of his experiences with us as well as pointing out features of local architecture and history, while giving us a detailed history of the dishes we prepared as the class progressed.
My friend has a gluten intolerance and he was able to accommodate her needs easily- and we got two alternative versions of two dishes as a result!
I would give 10 stars if I could!
