Driver was fantastic, great service. However there is no mention whilst booking that toll fees are not included in booking fee.
Great service. The driver actually came early for a 5:30 am pickup and waited patiently outside the hotel for me. He originally suggested going over the toll bridge to La Guardia but then I asked why not the Queensboro bridge (no toll) as it was very early on a Sat. morning. He took my suggestion without any complaints.
I had forgotten to ring the day before to arrange pick up at JFK airport but was able to contact the company from a phone in the airport. As there were four of us travelling with 4 large and 4 small cases we needed a minivan which arrived promptly following the phone call. All went well until we got to the hotel when the driver turned round and said or rather demanded a payment for the toll and a tip. We were taken aback by his attitude and gave him the toll money and what we thought was a tip for his driving, as the guys in the party had put the cases into the transport without his help!! But he demanded more money for his tip, his understanding of the language was non existent when we said we had given him a tip he just repeated tip,tip,in the end we gave him more money and he then opened the doors for us to get out of the taxi.
This was the fourth taxi trip we had booked through viator and it was the worst,the trip back to JFK was ok I think you should look at who you employ for driving people from the airport.
