Our Manatee Swim tour at Explorida was Voted Trip Advisors 2022 "Top Ten Bucket List Experience in THE WORLD!" Swimming with the manatees is a once in a lifetime experience so do it right! The Explorida Adventure Center offers a large, top notch facility that is climate controlled with indoor changing rooms for your privacy. Our boats are U.S. Coast Guard inspected and certified, which means they are allowed to carry more than 6 passengers, have all necessary safety equipment, and are in tip top shape. What an amazing adventure. The manatees were amazing and came right up to us. Our guide, Topher, was hilarious and made the trip even more memorable. Our captain, Rhonda, was incredibly hospitable and even provided hot cocoa when we got out of the water. I definitely recommend this tour with Rhonda and Topher.

We booked the early tour and surprisingly we were the only ones in our group!! Nothing like a private tour. Captain Gavin and Topher we great. Topher was our guide and steered us safely to various spots where we were very close to the Manatees. He shared some eco system knowledge with us and showed us a live spring area too where they hang out. We saw 10 total. Just majestic. I am a fluffy person.. size 22 and they had a wet suit that fit well and wasn’t a struggle to get into. Used their mask and snorkel… perfect. This was my first successful time using a snorkel… all thanks to Tophers words of wisdom. He also took some great casual pics of all of us with the manatees. Thanks to the whole crew from the office to the tour.

Guides were great. We saw 3 manatees and swam up close with them. It was magical! While it was close to the end of the season the guides quickly spotted manatees and lead us to them.
