The Explorida Adventure Center offers a large, top notch facility that is climate controlled with indoor changing rooms for your privacy. Our boats are U.S. Coast Guard inspected and certified, which means they are allowed to carry more than 6 passengers, have all necessary safety equipment, and are in tip top shape. My friend and I had an incredible time on this tour! Everyone at Explorida was so kind and made sure that we were comfortable and safe throughout our tour. After watching an educational video, you get fit for a wetsuit before taking a short van ride to the pier. From there, you load into the boat, where you're given a snorkel and pool noodle. While the water is a bit cold when you first get in, you quickly warm up. Despite it being a Tuesday, there were a lot of groups out on the water. However, Adam, our guide, made sure to keep track of everyone and alert us to manatees nearby. While we didn't see as many as I'd hoped (about 5), we did get up close to a few, and even got to see a mama and baby resting together. Following our time in the water, we got back on the boat, where hot chocolate was waiting for us. Overall, it was a bucket list experience for me, and I can't wait to do it again!

Did my research and selected this company. And it did not disappoint! Madelyn and John were fabulous. In the words of John, " I want to ensure you get the most bang for your buck, let's find you your own manatees!" We had a mom and calf all to ourselves. And the inwater guide and photographer were absolutely good worth it!! Thank you so much. Any one debating or comparing- THIS IS THE ONE!
