We have spent years exploring southern Utah so we can take you to the most jaw-dropping views and secret spots.
This is the Half Day Cathedral Valley tour option. A superb way to get a taste of the backcountry of Capitol Reef National Park without the time commitment of a full day tour, making it perfect for families or groups with limited time.

We will drive about 1.25 hours on dirt roads to the iconic Temples of the Sun and Moon and Glass Mountain, one of the most stunning, photogenic features in Capitol Reef, with plenty of stops along the way to stretch our legs and admire scenic views. We spend up to an hour here, then drive back the same way about 1.25 hours.

We booked the 5 - 7 hour Cathedral Valley tour at the recommendation of Sam who turned out to be our guide. A few days before our tour I got a text that the road was washed out due to a flash flood. Based on my earlier conversation with Sam I replied that we would be comfortable with whatever substitution he felt appropriate. Glad I put us in Sam's capable hands! What an adventure. I'd rate our experience as follows (based on 5 stars): Off-roading 5.5 Off path sights 7 Scenery 10 Knowledge of guide 11 Laughs 11 Will be recommending them to anyone considering a trip to southern UT.

We had Nick for 2 days in Capitol Reef. Mason, the owner, recommended more time in Capitol Reef and this was a great recommendation. We went on 2 full-day tours of Capitol Reef. We are so glad that we took extra time at Capitol Reef which apparently is missed by a lot of tourists. You could tell that our guide Nick really loved his job and what he was doing and made the tours very enjoyable.

We had a wonderful afternoon adventure exploring Cathedral Valley with our awesome guide Nick! We were picked up at our hotel and from the minute we first met Nick I knew we were in good hands! He has a wonderful personality and you can tell how passionate he is about the area and the sights we were seeing. He took the time to point out different sights and explain all about the geology of the area.. I felt so lucky we could see this part of Capital Reef with such an amazing guide !! Thank you Nick for this awesome day!! I would most definitely recommend this company for a tour !
