We have spent years exploring southern Utah so we can take you to the most jaw-dropping views and secret spots.
This is the Half Day Cathedral Valley tour option. A superb way to get a taste of the backcountry of Capitol Reef National Park without the time commitment of a full day tour, making it perfect for families or groups with limited time.

We will drive about 1.25 hours on dirt roads to the iconic Temples of the Sun and Moon and Glass Mountain, one of the most stunning, photogenic features in Capitol Reef, with plenty of stops along the way to stretch our legs and admire scenic views. We spend up to an hour here, then drive back the same way about 1.25 hours.

In a word, this tour is amazing. The best such tour my wife and I have ever taken. Mason is a bona fide expert on local flora and fauna as well as the geologic formations native to the area. As a former park ranger, his expertise is unparalleled and his enthusiasm and clear passion for the area is infectious. His team goes out of their way to customize the tour as to the locations visited and to accommodate specific guest interests. Even the full-day tour is not enough time to see this vast and endlessly captivating part of the country.

We took the 4 hrs Cathedral Valley tour. The online booking and follow up communication were all went very smoothly. Our guide is Mason. He is very knowledgeable. Share with a lot of info with us during the tour. The best part was he setup the picnic table and chairs right between temple of sun and moon. We were able to enjoy the park all by ourselves.

Full Cathedral Valley Jeep tour with Nick. Just my husband and I. Would have never seen if we hadn't taken tour. Beautiful scenery and picnic lunch at base of Cathedral of the Sun. Lots of information and stops to take pics. Nick was great!
