Overview

Our 4-day Half Dome guided backpacking tours are specially designed to make your journey to the summit as spectacular as possible! This guided tour kicks off in Yosemite Valley. From there we’ll hit the trail and guests will hike and camp alongside fabled waters like Sunrise Lakes or the Merced River. Our expert guides make your experience 5-star with delicious camp-cooked cuisine and comfort provisions around camp, while on-trail pointing out the lesser-known factual gems that surround you. The magic climaxes either on the final evening or the final morning, when you’ll climb the cables up Half Dome’s summit for a truly spectacular sunrise or sunset.

Amazing experience, the journey is extraordinary, the guides are very experienced and have the best attitude. Its a trip made for anyone with good a positive mindset and looking for a natural life changing experience

We had most unusual weather. Started out at Glacier Point. Temp 100 degrees. Within 30 hours we were in the middle of lightening strikes, heavy rain that would not let up, and hail storm (the hail the size of marbles). The hail was painful when it hit us in the head. Our guides rose to the occasion and got us down the mountain safely before we suffered from hypothermia. This is June 30, 2021 not January. While we did not get to Half Dome, which was disappointing, we got to see and do other things in the park that were worth while. I'm looking forward to another trip back to try again. Kudos to our guides Jess and Eric. They worked well together and were clearly well trained. All 8 of us mature participants were very happy with the trip from the start till the end. None of us will forget this Lasting Adventure. Steve

Lasting Adventures offered phenomenal guided tours of Yosemite. We completed the Yosemite Valley private guided tour, and also the Glacier Point to Half Dome backpacking trip. Zach and Logan were exceptional leaders. Zach’s knowledge of Yosemite and wisdom on proper procedures and technique made the trip better for everyone. Logan’s quiet support and willingness to help in any way showed a strength of character and love of his work. Our traveling companions were outstanding as well. The physical challenge of the trek coupled with the astounding beauty of our surroundings made an unforgettable memory. Would like to thank you for your incredibly prompt and attentive responses to any question or email sent your way.
