4 Day Half Dome Backpacking

Overview

Our 4-day Half Dome guided backpacking tours are specially designed to make your journey to the summit as spectacular as possible! This guided tour kicks off in Yosemite Valley. From there we’ll hit the trail and guests will hike and camp alongside fabled waters like Sunrise Lakes or the Merced River. Our expert guides make your experience 5-star with delicious camp-cooked cuisine and comfort provisions around camp, while on-trail pointing out the lesser-known factual gems that surround you. The magic climaxes either on the final evening or the final morning, when you’ll climb the cables up Half Dome’s summit for a truly spectacular sunrise or sunset.

Hands down the most amazing trip...ever! Marina and Nicole shared the magic of Yosemite with us in so many ways. From the history of the park to the trails and the surroundings, their knowledge of the park, backpacking, and the great outdoors was so impressive. Their culinary expertise was not lost on our group either! The Half Dome summit will be etched in my memory forever. Nicole and Marina gave me the gloves off their hands to make sure I felt comfortable getting up! And it was pure magic at the top. We hit the guide jackpot in so many ways. Thank you Lasting Adventures for the trip of a lifetime!

Beyond amazing experience! First backpacking trip I've ever gone to and it was an unforgettable experience since day one. The guides from my group, Nicole and Marina made every moment memorable. The food that was given to each of us was incredible, from Mexican burritos, to amazing pasta with homemade sauce. This trip was beyond the best experience I've ever had, and highly recommend.

Our trip was more than we expected because we could never have expected the guides would be so fabulous. Marina and Nicole were guides, friends, coaches, cheerleaders, psychologists, and bad asses. I don’t think I would have made it up and down half Dome without them. I felt safe. I have been on many guided trips: rafting and camping over the years and our guides blew them all away. Both of these women clearly love there job. As to the company. I borrowed equipment from the company and it was all in great shape-not old and ratty. The food was fabulous: Fresh food (bacon, eggs, pasta…) cooked perfectly while camping miles.
