Going to the park in October is so much better than the summer. Shorter lines for everything and much less crowded over all. This is a great home town water park, but beware that like all water parks it’s not overly accessible (all of the slides require you to climb many, many stairs). Parking is $25, as were small lockers on the day we went. I’m not sure if the locker prices vary. There is plenty of seating, however I’d suggest getting a cabana or chickee hut which comes with free locker and guaranteed shaded chairs.

MUCH more enjoyable experience going to o the water park on Oct 3rd then went we last went in June. Lines were about half as long as in the summer and were able to do all the slides in under 2 hrs.

im writing in regards to our experience. we spent the weekend of labor day in the parks for my sons 6th bday. our experience in bush gardens was great and everyone was very welcoming however, we attended the adventure island park on 9/5/21. we had finised with our day and changed the kids since we had rented a cabana. as we were walking out of the park with both kids i started feeling very dizzy and felt as if i was going to faint so we stopped at one of the hydration stations and one of the womens there offered some water and asked if we were okay. however, as we were waiting for the water which was already served and on its way to us, some very rude security approached us demanding us to leave and asking very loudly what the problem was. ( as if we were doing something wrong) we tried explaining that i was feeling really dizzy and the nice young lady had served me some water however, the security screamed at the employee and demanded her to place the water back in the fridge. then they followed us out the park while talking and laughing very rudely about us right behind us. i ended up fainting in the parking lot and my brother had to later stop at a gas station for some water. my experience and vacation went from what was perfect to... i will never again return to adventure island. it was humiliating and unessasary. my kids were terrified.
