Waste of money. Did about 5 water slides over 5 hours. Long wait times for everything, especially food, which was low quality and very few choices. Made the mistake of getting the meal plan only to find out that all but one of the restaurants close an hour before the park closes. We did Bush Gardens the prior day which was also not very good so I would say avoid all of the Sea World owned parks like Busch Gardens and Adventure Island and spend your hard earned money on the Disney parks instead. They are significantly better value. If paying a lot of money to wait in line and occasionally douse yourself in cesspool water is your thing, then Adventure Island is for you!

Very light crowds made for a great experience for us....all of the slides were open and they have a nice selection of slides....the 4 man family raft ride with the plunges is awesome! The "cliff jumping" pool was an enjoyable, unique feature that we liked despite its being no-tech. Downsides: many of the features in the bucket dump play area weren't working, some despite easy fixes: "put a new tube 12 inch rubber tube on to replace the broken one, come on!), the waves were "broken for the day", part of the lazy river closed, and the food options were minimal. I agree with the other reviewers, don't get the all you can eat option, but if the most important thing on your agenda is stuffing your face I think you are missing the point entirely. Everybody is experiencing staffing challenges and prioritizing keeping the slides open is absolutely the right call., I don't mind the other things too much as long as the slides are open. With pretty much no lines at any of them all day it was wonderful....

We have been to Ad Island multiple times before and have had a good experience, but this time it was just off and think Ad Island could work on itself a little bit to regain its footing. I will say that I get were in or coming out of a pandemic, but the place was packed to capacity and as we leaving 5 hrs in people were still coming in. Training: It is clear the staff and particularity those who run the slides need training. There is so much time between each rider that it is no wonder each line is 40 min longer. I'm not talking lessen safety, I'm talking when one person is at the bottom, send the next person. There were times on the racing slides I could count 10 sec after the people were off before the next group was sent. Same goes for the other slides, 5 layers of communication, followed by delays before the next group goes down does nothing but waste everyone's time. They can and should be better. Keep the lines moving. Cliff Jump: I don't know when or why the second jump is closed, but all it's doing is leading to lines and wait. 2 years ago, I think the most we waited was 2 min, this time because there is only one, wait was 20 people deep. This must be fixed. Also, 1/2 the pool area was closed thus making a packed pool. Staffing: it is clear, like a lot or places staffing post lockdown is an issue. Lines for food, lockers and everything were longer than I've ever seen them. If AI can't staff appropriately then they need to reduce entry...if it's a money thing, pay staff more to get them hired. I am hoping someone will read this and maybe next year when we can go back it will be improved otherwise the next time, may be our last time.
