What To Expect

Phoenix Sonoran Desert Preserve

Your hot air balloon tour check in at the Deer Valley Airport Balloon Ride Parking Area, unless the roundtrip hotel transfers option is selected. Guests will float above the awe-inspiring Sonoran Desert viewing local landmarks, wildlife and plant life from above.

Camelback Mountain

Soar past iconic Camelback Mountain in the Phoenix Valley. This mountain is a favorite of local hikers and cyclists.

Downtown Phoenix

As the sun sets, you'll see Downtown Phoenix in the distance. As you come in to land, a table complete with linens and china awaits you in the heart of the desert, a clue to what you are about to enjoy! You'll be greeted with a traditional celebration that includes scrumptiously prepared gourmet cuisine from the award-winning Vincent’s on Camelback restaurant. First-time flyers will be treated to the legendary Balloonists Ceremony that balloonists all over the world have been sharing for more than a century.

We had Captain Mike England as our pilot. He told us many facts as well as being very funny. The sunset ride was terrific. I was surprised that once you lift up that it is so smooth and quiet and the scenery from up is lovely. After landing we had a party in the dessert. Tables were set up with champagne, cider and snacks. One person was celebrating her birthday and so we also had a birthday cake. Jessie was our driver and chase crew. He too was very good. We loved it and would highly recommend this company for your hot air balloon experience. This was our first experience

Our pilot and driver, Tommy and Alex were awesome. Very friendly, funny and professional. The experience as a whole was great but even better with Tommy, Alex and the whole crew. Would highly recommend them and this company.
