We hired Coldwater for a full day private charter for our elopement in July 2022. We truly could not have asked for a better day or captain (Captain John - the whale whisperer!) We knew it would be beautiful as we had used Coldwater's water taxi services for a backpacking trip earlier in the year, however this day was seriously miles beyond our wildest expectations. We had no idea we were also getting an amazing wildlife tour with our elopement! Captain John took us by an island full of sea lions, we spotted an adorable group of puffins and incredibly enough even got some amazing photos of a whale. For our ceremony he took us to a beautiful, secluded waterfall that flows right off the mountain onto the beach. Afterwards we were dropped off at Kayak Beach to hike Grace Ridge, which is a beautiful hike and a super fun backpacking spot. All in all, we truly could not have asked for a better experience. Any time we need a boat in Homer we will exclusively use Coldwater - every single person I have worked with there has been nothing short of amazing. Plus, from what it looks like they have the best boats too! We had five adults, an infant (10 months), our dog and a small amount of bins/gear and had plenty of room to all comfortably sit inside. Thank you so much for making our elopement the most epic experience!

Oh my goodness! The 2 hour scenic tour was absolutely, positively worth the money to do! Our tour resulted in us seeing lots of wildlife, including whales & a colony of birds that were visited by a most solemn eagle. Our tour guide was friendly, knowledgable, flexible & fun to be with. I certainly have zero hesitation in recommending this tour!

Captain Patrick was very friendly and personable. He also did a great job spotting wildlife including a whale! We also saw seals, sea otters, puffins, and beautiful scenery throughout!
