I can't express entirely how much fun we had on this adventure. From the informative crew, to the amazing and close encounter with all 4 types of whales in the PNW, it was an experience of a lifetime. We will look to book with them again. The whole crew was informative, funny and so enjoyable!

A week later and I'm still thinking of the whale watching trip from Sunday, August 18. Captain Drew and naturalists Taylor and Aubrey were friendly, engaging and incredibly knowledgeable. We ended up off the coast of Canada, where we saw a pod of 8 orcas. On the way back, we saw the humpback we tried to find on the trip out. It was magic. I've never been able to see whales, porpoises and harbor seals like this and I feel so lucky that we got to that Sunday. Outer Island was careful to follow all rules maintain the animals' safety during our viewing and explained it to us. The crew shared so much useful information about the animals' behavior, as well as the challenges facing resident orcas. The trip has re-energized my personal environmental advocacy efforts and inspired me to learn more and do something to contribute to Salish Sea conservation efforts. I cannot wait to get back to the PNW and go out with Outer Island Excursions again. Thank you so much!
