I had always wanted to whale watch and finally got the opportunity in Whidbey Island/Anacortes. The staff were very genuine and kind. The captain was extremely lax on time and allowed us to stay out with the whales much longer than planned. We saw 3 pods of orcas, sea lions, and minke whales. It was such a fun special experience. Take the evening trip (330pm) with Drew, Beth, and Dawn.

So when you're deciding which whale watching trip to select, consider the following: Size of the Boat: our boat was fantastic! Big enough to have plenty of room to move around. Small enough to move quickly through the water. Also had a bathroom! Number of people: how many people will be on your boat? We had about 48 which was perfect. More than enough space for everyone. Captain & crew: we sailed with Captain Drew, Beth & Dawn. To say they were awesome is an understatement. They we so knowledgable and were able to answer all our questions. The Captain was great at adjusting our trip to maximize whale viewing. You can tell they really love their jobs and that made for an enjoyable visit. Location: we chose Anacortes because we didn't want to use a ferry. It was easy to find and a beautiful drive. Whales & other wildlife: we saw Minke whales on 2 different occasions, Stellar sea lions and Orcas! We had several pods of Orcas meet up for an amazing display. We stayed for over an hour just in awe of these amazing animals. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY and look forward to our next visit!
