My whole family and I went on the 3.5 hour whale watching cruise from Anacortes and we loved every minute of it. It's a beautiful ride and the captain (Jim, i think), Beth and another guide provided amazing information during the time we spotted Orcas. We followed them for about 15-20 minutes and learned a lot about them and their patterns. We then spotted a humpback whale and got close enough to hear the whoooosh of water coming out of the blowhole. We also got to see the whale take 2-3 deep dives resulting in us seeing the fluke (not the tail, as we learned). Overall, a great trip and a must-do.
