The entire experience with 1st Alaska Tours was great. All phone calls and email questions were answered quickly. Staff were very friendly and cooperative. Our tour guide "Bruce" was on time for our hotel pickup, and very friendly and professional the entire trip. It was an excellent experience and adventure and we would definitely recommend 1st Alaska Tours to others.

It was a wonderful and interesting tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable and fun. The sights are awesome and something you don’t see every day. We saw moose and were fortunate to see a grizzly bear on our way back.

If you make the trek to the top of the world, Josh absolutely needs to be your guide. He was personable, attentive, knowledgeable, witty, and a responsible driver on an otherwise dangerous road. Our Floridian son had never seen/played with snow, Josh knew exactly where a small patch of snow was for them to have a snowball fight. When another child was experiencing motion sickness, he knew where to stop so we could stretch our legs to relax and regroup. Aside from mosquitoes being infatuated with him and his van, make sure to pack your bug repellent if you are visiting during the Spring/Summer. The bugs did not take away from the experience, but will enhance your Alaska adventure. His stories and pictures from the Northern Lights tour have convinced my husband and I we need to come back during the winter and do this tour with him again. Don’t be fooled by the man from West Palm Beach, he was born to be an Alaskan and guide this tour. He was fantastic!!
