1ST ALASKA TOURS: We went. March 12 1pm to approx 5am March 13. It is a trip I will never forget. Trip up to Arctic Circle - Cloudy overcast (Got some of my best pics from the van (front seat going to Arctic Circle) - snow covered trees were just captivating. Aaron was great and most helpful with group pics. Return trip to Fairbanks, the Heavens(Stars and Aurora) just opened up for us. Entire Van had refused any negative thoughts, given the overcast trip up.!. AARON was our guide. He was very knowledgeable and very enjoyable to talk with, while keeping us all safe on the remote roads -Skies were so clear I was able to infinity focus on the Belt of Orion. I could have taken another couple hundred pics, but the remainder of our guests were a little tired. I was a little too, but the Aurora is a rush!!! Did not know I was really tired till I got back to the hotel (I already shot over 200 Aurora pics - 30 sec avg exposures -so I was not without the best of opportunities) The opportunities to see and photograph the Aurora were priceless, and AARON's enthusiasm was contagious, even for those who were past their normal bedtimes (smile). One sees the Aurora and one does not not even think about the cold. Appreciate all considerations given to us. Even saw a Lynx - live one! Not Yukon Jeremy"s (@Yukon Lodge - terrific Food!).Thank You again Aaron!!!!!!! Jeff the designated Copilot (smile). Will do so again - in a heartbeat!
