All of our guides have individual and unique ties to the Amish community and have always enjoyed showing off the “true” Lancaster County. This rich, immersive experience is personally designed to give you a rare window into the authentic Amish culture. Every meal is an amazing experience!

What To Expect

Amish Country

We will meet in Lancaster and drive through the Amish countryside learning about the Amish culture with a narrated tour of a few stops -

1719 Museum (formerly 1719 Hans Herr House & Museum)

Narrated driving tour passing by the oldest settlement in Lancaster, a visit to one of our 29 historic covered bridges, and background of Amish history and culture on the way to our host family.

This was an amazing experience. Anna and her family were so welcoming and kind. The food was fresh, simple, and delicious. We loved learning more about the Amish and definitely walked away the better for it. Highly recommend this experience!

We had such a wonderful time celebrating my Mother In Law's 87th Birthday. Phil was a wonderful host and tour guide. He is extremely knowledgeable on the history and places of the area. Then, we had a lovely, delicious meal at Sarah's house. We were able to interact with her and learn about her traditions and way of life. We did some more sightseeing, touring. Highlights were the silo with a vantage view of Lancaster, the Dairy farm with fresh, homemade ice cream and the barn builders home which was lovely. Thank you Phil once again, for a wonderful day. Great time visiting the amish family and the farm life. Delicious food and a lot to choose from and the desserts were delicious also.
