After 16 days, my wife and I were flying home late on a Saturday (Sunday) and she decided to book this. First of all, this is our fourth time in Alaska and I always wanted to take the train somewhere. This trip, which started in Anchorage, took us past Cook Inlet (a very nice ride), through the tunnel into Whittier and to Spencer Glacier. Then we got in a raft driven by Cody who did a great job. We floated around the Glacier with plenty of big icebergs all around. We even got close enough to touch them. Then we floated down the Placer River. A nice ride with a couple of nice little rapids. We weren't expecting Class one, two or three so it ended up big a relaxing ride. Then it was on the train and back to Anchorage. We started our trip with a great three day cruise in Prince William Sound and ended it with this nice little adventure.
