Best of Jackson Hole Wildlife Safari Tour

Overview

Thousands of mule deer, elk, moose, big horn sheep and bison migrate into the valley in search of food each year along with coyotes, fox, bald and golden eagles, swans, and even packs of wolves. This gathering of wintering wildlife makes winter one of the best times to view wildlife in Jackson Hole!

After a full morning in the field we will enjoy lunch together at a local eatery before heading back out for the afternoon. When available, we will take a horse drawn sleigh through the National Elk Refuge into the middle of the largest wild elk herd in North America. Following the sleigh ride, we will head back into the field to spot more wildlife.

The minimum age for wildlife safaris is 8 years old. (Private safaris have no age minimum.)
We have a 48-hour cancellation policy for all single day wildlife safaris. Cancellations made before the cancellation policy goes into effect will receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 48 hours of departure, and before the day of departure will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations or no-shows on the day of departure will not be refunded. We strongly recommend travel insurance in order to protect you from unforeseen travel interruptions that prevent you from joining us.

Perfect way to view Yellowstone! Our guide Tiffany was amazing - well organized, but laid back and easy to get to know, and last but not least - extremely knowledgeable! Our teenage sons were even impressed with her, which is hard to do. She made our first day in Jackson Hole memorable and kicked our trip off to a great start.

We had a fantastic experience with Duane as our guide and driver . Started off seeing bears in the morning and toured into Yellowstone from Jackson Hole; Saw Old Faithful go off… visited the amazing Grand Prismatic spring , had a sumptuous picnic lunch in the woods, snd ended in Hayden valley seeing Elk and Bison . Finally saw breathtaking views of Grand Canyon of Yellowstone Breakfast and lunch was provided ; as well as powerful binoculars. Duane’s knowledge of wildlife , the history begins everything really was mind blowing ; he was friendly and very helpful too HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS TOUR!
