It was my husband's and I first time in Chicago and we didn't really know any of the history. Our tour guide Alex was funny and very informative. I would strongly recommend taking this tour to get to see cool places/hop off and then hop back on the next bus to continue the tour!

We have done Big Bus tours in many cities and this afternoon’s must rate as the worst. The staff clearly had no plan on how to deal with so many people. Chris, the guide, told us nothing. We got on at Navy Pier and before we got to the next stop we were wondering how to get out of this bad deal. Fortunately we had to swap busses at stop 1.

doppierunner Thank you for your review. We do have plans in set to deal with large amounts of guests. Yesterday on Oct. 8, there was a large amount of traffic as a result of road closures on State St. and side streets due to the Columbus Day parade. Normally the parade is on Columbus Dr. and doesn't effect us, but was moved this year displacing a lot of traffic one one of the busiest streets in Chicago. Our tour that would normally be a 2-Hour tour turned into a 3 - 4 Hour tour due to the immense amount of traffic and the streets we're allowed to take due to our vehicle height. In the case of extended tours, our Tour Guides try their best to provide information while being stuck in traffic. But there's a limit to the amount of stuff they can talk about as they exhaust all of their stories and information of the surrounding area. This is the best way to see the Chicago and its beauty. Our tour guide was excellent and very knowledgeable. Over all everyone were friendly and we had a great time seeing the attraction.
