Nothing better than taking a hop-on hop-off bus when visiting a city, and this includes Chicago! The Big Bus takes you around all the best locations as the tour guide provides stories surrounding the history of amazing Chicago. We had one exceptional tour guide, one ok tour guide, and one so-so tour guide during our time on the Big Bus so I'm giving this ride four stars.

This was my first bus tour ever, I've been to Chicago many times before for different things but wanted my son to see the city. I found this was a different/interesting way of getting around. The buses we rode were a bit dirty, while I understand running all day things can get dirty but I think some cosmetic attention is needed and more frequent deep cleaning. The guides were lovely and very entertaining. I'd also like to see more celebrity facts and less architectural facts. Finally, hearing new information rather than each guide saying the same information would encourage multiple rides (if that makes sense). Overall, I recommend it!

Amber L Thank you for your review. We pick up trash and do some light cosmetic work Stop 1 when they pull up and a deeper clean nightly. The way we've designed our tour wasn't to focus on celebrities, as there aren't that many that call Chicago home. We are a sightseeing tour company, not a celebrity sightseeing company. Chicago is a city famous for its contributions to architecture and city planning, that's what we want to show off in our tour. We understand you 'multiple ride' concept; our tour focuses on major icons and events that have shaped Chicago, while leaving enough breathing room for Tour Guides to provide their own information when there are lulls in the major history. That way the majority of people get a nice overview of our history, while also getting a patchwork of multiple stories from different points of view. Best The Big Bus Tours Chicago Team

Did the Hop on Hop off day trip our first day in. Chicago ..strongly recommend thisOur guide Denise was amazing! Knowledgeable, humorous and very relatable..a guided tour is the only way to go!
