The Big Bus in Chicago was awesome. All of our guides knew a ton of information about the city and we just loved it. I highly recommend this for a first timer to Chicago.

I've now done a Big Bus tour in a couple cities. It's a great and efficient way to see the city and the hop off/hop on let's you set your own schedule but can also be its downfall. Sometimes you get a great guide but hop off for one reason or another and then when you hop back on you may get someone completely different. The live guide can be great but the variety can leave you wanting. We also purchased our passes ahead of time but were told upon check-in that we should have waited and bought them at the stop to get them cheaper.

It's traffic jam on saturday,so we have not seen Soldier Field and Planetarium. My first coming here so it"s hard to find the bus stop of this tour.
