We waited for almost an hour at one of the stops in the pouring rain and no bus appeared so we never even got on a bus!

This is a good overview tour to see the sights of the greater downtown Chicago area. It is about a 2 hour loop. If you get off at stop#3, you can easily walk to “THE BEAN”, a great photo location I suggest you tie this your in with the Architectural river boat tour for a very good full day worth of seeing downtown Chicago. I recommend you join the Bus tour at the Navy Pier (stop # 7), which allows you to walk to the start of the boat tour.
