We got very lucky we had a beautiful Chicago November day for the tour. When we got on the bus the driver was very friendly, handed us headphones, that was the start of a disappointing ride. The information is limited, I left that bus after the first time I got off knowing no more about this city than when I got on. The second driver wasn’t even friendly, and of course the same prerecorded headphones. The reason why I gave this tour 4 stars is the last driver we rode with him through 5 stops and he was amazing. He knew facts about the city, he was up beat, he let us all get out to take a photo at as he said it was the best place in the city for a picture. At the end of the day I realize if it wasn’t for the last driver we would have been a very disappointing ride. Big Bus Co do better 1 out of 3 drivers should not be your standard. And I realize you save money with the prerecorded track but there is nothing like the personalized experience of a live person, sharing their city with the people who visit.

Our driver Candace was excellent, she was very enthusiastic during the tour. She was an excellent tour guide included all of the passengers , made sure passengers had enough time to take pictures.

We bought our tickets a little after noon with the intent of spending the next couple hours after lunch on the bus. When we finally got on, we were immediately told this was the last stop because the parade on Michigan avenue was going to close streets down. No where on the website when we bought our tickets did it indicate that. Other passengers who got on with us were upset as well. We paid for three full price tickets for three stops!
