A comprehensive journey through Hawaiian history. Great attention to detail. Exhibits give a real feel of life and culture.

I spent over four hours here and didn't find myself getting museum fatigue. The displays are very engaging here and you get such a sense of the history of Hawaii from visiting here. If you are at all interested in history (and even if you aren't--I'm not, really), this is a must-see.

We spent our last full day on Oahu here in November 2019. The main building has a beautiful and extensive collection. The staff is very knowledgable and friendly. A must-do for anyone who wants to learn about all chapters of Hawaii's history.
