There is a lot of information of the history of Hawaii with lots of displays. It does take some time to really read them. Several buildings think most were 3 floors. They had a cool Lego display while we were there. Not sure if this display is temporary or not. There was also a large area where the kiddos could play with Lego's.

Everyone comes to Hawaii for the beautiful beaches, but there are wonderful museums and historical places to visit. The Bishop Museum is one of those places! My husband and I spent and entire afternoon here learning about the Hawaiian islands and culture. The exhibits were comprehensive and informative. I highly recommend it to learn about Hawaii!

During my visit to Honolulu we spent a day at the museum. We learned more about the people and history of the Islands. Although the lava presentation is aimed more at children a must admit my mother (70) and I (45) really enjoyed it. Also have to appreciate the humor in the Lego displays
