Black Cat Historical Day Tour

Overview
Our daytime historic tour is a story of Pirates and Puritans, Witchcraft and War.  We travel around the city of Salem and share the tales of its amazing history.  From its humble beginnings as a city founded on the idea of peace for all, to the site of the largest incident of witchcraft hysteria in the modern world, learn how it became one of the biggest shipping ports in America, played host to some of the most famous authors of all time, and learn some of the biggest secrets this city has to offer!

Our daytime walking tour lasts about an hour and forty five minutes, and covers a mile's worth of the downtown area. It is an easy walk, but we suggest comfortable shoes and clothing to match the season. Our tours are unscripted, and can be customized to every group's particular areas of interest!

The tour was amazing and the guide Daniel was super fun and informative. We only had a group of 4 people but that didn't change the stories or his enthusiasm! We passed other tour guides and none of them seemed to have the same enthusiasm as Daniel. I highly suggest this tour. And from one whovian to the next allons-y!

My wife and I took this tour in March 2015,Daniel is a very engaging and knowledgeable guide and although an extremely cold day we were highly entertained by his enthusiasm and personality.Very good value for money and would highly recommend. One thing to remember is that Salem is very quiet during March and some shops were not open during our visit-the season seems to start 1st week of April.

Very knowledgeable guide and we thoroughly enjoyed the tour with her. I checked out several walking tours prior to our trip to Salem and this one is absolutely the best.
