Black Cat Historical Day Tour

Overview
Our daytime historic tour is a story of Pirates and Puritans, Witchcraft and War.  We travel around the city of Salem and share the tales of its amazing history.  From its humble beginnings as a city founded on the idea of peace for all, to the site of the largest incident of witchcraft hysteria in the modern world, learn how it became one of the biggest shipping ports in America, played host to some of the most famous authors of all time, and learn some of the biggest secrets this city has to offer!

Our daytime walking tour lasts about an hour and forty five minutes, and covers a mile's worth of the downtown area. It is an easy walk, but we suggest comfortable shoes and clothing to match the season. Our tours are unscripted, and can be customized to every group's particular areas of interest!

Loved the tour. only thing I would change would be more alert of where it starts. we walked by multiple times but there was no reference other than a nice man who asked if we were looking for this tour. had he not we may have wasted 30 dollars due to not finding where it started.

Thank you so much for taking our tour! We absolutely appreciate your review. Our confirmation emails and website have written directions, photos of our meeting location, a map, and a GPS location in the exact spot where we meet. We call and email everyone who has not checked in before the tour starts, so there is no chance that you would have missed your tour, rest assured! The city does not allow signage to be placed on public walkways, so we cannot do any more than we have, but we are sorry that you had difficulty finding us!

A few friends and I went on this tour on the 18th of October and had a blast! Adriana is a great storyteller and was able to keep the group together and capture our attention the entire time. She always made sure everyone could hear her as well. I would highly recommend the ghost tour, especially if you want to learn about more then just the witch side of the towns history!
